Visiting the museum

When you are in Hoorn, you cannot miss the Westfries Museum. The museum is housed in one of Hoorn’s most beautiful monuments right on the city’s central square, de Roode Steen. The museum is bigger than the richly adorned façade makes you assume. You can easily spend two hours there.

Paid parking facilities can be found in the direct environment of the museum. In case you make use of public transport, please click here for information (link opens a new window). Due to the accommodation in a monument, unfortunately the museum is not accessible to wheelchair users. We offer our apologies for this.
